Desert Botanical Garden

While in Scottsdale, Carol & I made a visit to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix.  It was just a short drive from our hotel.  The day we visited was extraordinarily warm.  Carol used the word hot, but I reserve that for the 90's and higher.

Just inside the entrance were some gorgeous bright green succulents.  Or so we thought.

Turns out, these gorgeous "plants" are glass made by Dale Chihuly.  Aren't they fabulous?

The hubby and I went there when we were traveling about.
I love, LOVE the desert.
I can't get hot...I am happy when it is over 100*

This is my first visit to your blog and I am loving it!

Your tutorials are fantastic!

My Dad was stationed to Elmendorf AFB, right next door to Anchorage, when I was a child...long ago (1963-1965 yes was there for the EARTHQUAKE)and I remember Alaska as one of the most pristine beautiful places we lived.

Thank you,

Sandy
