Aging Eyes ... Sigh

People of a certain age ... ahem ... will know what I mean when I say that I simply can't see the small stuff any more.  In all honesty, it's been going on for years, but I've been using some work-around techniques.  I'm extremely near-sighted and my glasses correct for distance vision.  When I take my glasses off (they are progressives) and hold my beads really close, I can see them perfectly!  I was finally getting tired of this silly work-around and invested in an optivisor.  The one I purchased has 3 interchangeable lenses of different magnifications.  So, when my eyes get even worse (is that possible?) I can change out the lens.

Why did I wait so long?!?!?!  This might possibly be the most important tool in my arsenal right now.  Plus, it's so flattering:

All I can say is that it's a good thing I work at home.  Alone.

Those are kind of like Christine's, right? Ha hahaha... I didn't like wearing them, but that was because they made my forehead get sweaty. Cute! ;-)

Ohhh you are just now getting into the "swing of it"??? My eyes have gone wacky so long ago I think I should have a visor implanted on my head. LOL

They don't look all that bad...realy.

How I hate having my eyesight go downhill! So many floaters & it gets hard to focus a lot of times. One of the MANY things that come with age!

Ugh, I'm essentially blind without my contacts, that's how nearsighted I am. So, I can relate! I've been getting better about taking breaks and resting my eyes lately, though...

And I'm glad I work at home alone, too, because I'm usually in ratty pajamas (and I like it that way!).

I LOVE my optivisor. And can I tell you how many times I've gone to find it to read the print on the bottom of matchbox cars and other assorted items for the kiddo? Not to mention how many times I've answered the doorbell still wearing it. QUITE attractive. LOL

Cute Vicki! I had Lasik years ago and it still works very well but I must use "readers" from time to time (my eye doc said this would happen over time). Such is life....
